Samantha Parkington is a ten year old orphan growing up under the care of her wealthy grandmother. Her best friend is called Nelly O'Malley and she likes painting, paper dolls, ice-skating, and helping others. Her birthday is May 26th and she was born in 1894.
Samantha is a girl's name of Hebrew origin meaning "God has heard." Samantha is one of the first three Historical Character from Pleasant Company which was first released in 1986 and this edition retired in 2009. Samantha was rereleased in 2014 with the launch of BeForever and furthermore, a Special Edition version was released for the 35th anniversary in 2021.
Samantha has a classic face-mold, and a light skin. Her hair is dark brown, wavy and she has a fringe. She wears a hair-bow in the same print as her dress. Samantha has decal brown eyes, which are different from the standard brown on most dolls. Her eyebrows are straight, she has a neck-string, and she has no body-tag. She has no stains on her body and no loose limbs, and her hair is in very good condition. She is wearing her first meet outfit.
